Caricature Prompt Pack: 25 Copy-Paste AI Prompts for Job-Specific Avatars
I keep seeing the same frustration: someone asks for a “caricature of me at work,” and the result comes back generic—the job doesn’t read clearly, the face drifts between variations, or the image invents extra details. This prompt pack fixes that by being specific where it matters (identity + job cues) and short where it doesn’t.
What to prep before you paste any prompt
For best results, use one sharp reference photo (front-facing, good lighting) and—if you have it—one “work clue” photo (uniform, laptop setup, classroom, kitchen, tools, etc.). Most tools support either text-to-image or transforming an uploaded photo, and ChatGPT’s image workflow is explained in Creating images in ChatGPT as well as the ChatGPT image features overview.
If you generate or edit images via the API, it’s worth skimming the official OpenAI Image Generation Guide and the gpt-image-1.5 prompting cookbook, because they show how to structure prompts and iterate cleanly.
The 5 ingredients that make “caricature of me + my job” actually work
Every strong result uses the same five ingredients: identity anchor (your reference image), job cues (props + environment that read instantly), style (2D, sketch, poster, 3D toy look), camera (framing + pose), and constraints (no extra people, consistent face, no logos/text).
Universal “Caricature of Me + My Job” prompt template
Use this once, then swap only the style block. Keep the job cues realistic and you’ll get results that look intentional instead of “random cartoon person.”

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nurse | 01 | 06 | 11 | 16 | 21 |
| Teacher | 02 | 07 | 12 | 17 | 22 |
| Software developer | 03 | 08 | 13 | 18 | 23 |
| Chef | 04 | 09 | 14 | 19 | 24 |
| Firefighter | 05 | 10 | 15 | 20 | 25 |
Fixes that beat “just try again”
If the face stops looking like you
Reduce complexity: use fewer props, simplify the background, and tighten framing (head-and-shoulders works best). When a tool supports reference images, explicitly call it your “identity anchor.” For Midjourney, see Image Prompts; for ChatGPT, see Creating images in ChatGPT.
If the job reads wrong
Swap props before you swap style. Your setting + two iconic tools usually communicate the job faster than “vibes.” If you use Midjourney, their Prompt Basics are a clean reference for building “subject + setting + details.”
If the image adds text, logos, or readable screens
Make “no readable text / no logos / no private data” a hard constraint, and repeat it once in the prompt. If you iterate via the API, the Image Generation Guide shows how multi-step flows and edits are typically handled.
